DIMEA has an expanded mission, both at a coordinating and at an operational level, to deal with illegal trade.<\/p>\n

It is an independent Service and reports directly to the Minister of Development. Its main responsibility is to carry out all kinds of checks at every stage of the handling and marketing of products and services, both during production, import, handling, storage, as well as during the disposal of products and the provision of services.<\/p>\n
